Launch of iBGStar® DMA version 2.0.1

We are pleased to announce that on the 9th of July, Sanofi will release the new, updated version of the iBGStar® Diabetes Manager Application – the DMA v. 2.0.1.

After the release of the iBGStar® DMA v. 2.0, a very limited number of users reported issues regarding the data conversion feature when upgrading. Sanofi compiled all user feedback and investigated the issue. The cause was found and successfully repaired.

Our recommendation to all users is to update to the latest iBGStar® DMA v. 2.0.1 upon release, as this is the latest version of the software. For users who currently have DMA v.1.0, DMA v.2.0 after the upgrade from DMA v. 1.0, or whose Application is not responding since upgrade from DMA v. 1.0 - the update can be performed successfully.

Users who deleted the iBGStar® DMA v.1.0, and then installed DMA v. 2.0, will not be able to recover their data from DMA v.1.0. The data stored since the DMA v. 2.0 installation will be available in DMA v. 2.0.1.

All users are advised to create an i-device backup (with the current DMA version) in iTunes, before executing the update.
