BGStar® and iBGStar® launch in the UK, Canada and Belgium
Three key markets join the global roll out of the innovative blood glucose monitors. These three latest launches will bring diabetes innovation, independence and ease of use to thousands of people with diabetes and healthcare professionals. More launches are to follow in 2012.

The sleek and discreet iBGStar® blood glucose monitoring device is gathering design prizes, having most recently won the 2011 GOOD DESIGN® Award (Medical Category).
Co-designed by Sanofi and AgaMatrix, the device is the first of its kind to connect to an iPhone or iPod touch, to measure and track blood glucose accurately and with design elegance. Its features and innovative ease of use are already bringing more independence to those with diabetes.

BGStar® and iBGStar® blood glucose meters now launched in Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain

Following rapidly on launches in France and Germany, Sanofi Diabetes has now launched its first blood glucose meters in Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain. The innovative new BGStar meters allow highly accurate monitoring of blood glucose levels using stylishly and discreetly designed devices with Dynamic Electrochemistry – an intelligent technology that compensates automatically for potential errors caused by interference factors. In addition, the new iBGStar enables viewing and analysing of blood glucose levels and trends on the go, using an iPhone or iPod Touch.
